AARP (2019) notes that 76% percent of the aging population has emphasized a desire to age in place, remaining in the comfort of their own homes while receiving the necessary care.  However, falls in the home remains one of the most significant challenges facing the senior population.  Therefore, it is important to implement adequate measures to remain in the home safely.
